Tour Planning

Submitting a request through our website or contacting us regarding a tour does not constitute a confirmed booking.

Each journey is planned individually. Travel arrangements become confirmed only after communication with our team, availability confirmation, and agreement on the services to be provided.

Tour Information

Information presented on this website is intended as a general overview of our tours and services.

Availability, pricing, accommodations, transportation, permits, and other travel details may vary depending on travel dates, group size, and individual requirements.

Final travel details and pricing will be provided during the planning process.

Changes to Itineraries

Travel in Tajikistan may be affected by weather conditions, road closures, safety considerations, local regulations, or other circumstances beyond our control.

EcoTour reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, accommodations, transportation arrangements, or activities when necessary for operational or safety reasons.

Whenever possible, travelers will be informed of significant changes in advance.

Cancellations and Refunds

A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit or full payment.

If a client cancels a confirmed booking, the following conditions apply:

• more than 30 days before the tour start date — full refund, excluding bank transfer and payment processing fees;
• 15–29 days before departure — 70% refund of the total tour price;
• 7–14 days before departure — 50% refund;
• less than 7 days before departure, or in case of a no-show — no refund.

Certain services (domestic flights, train tickets, permits, hotel reservations and other third-party services with non-refundable conditions) may not be refundable regardless of the cancellation date.

Requests to change travel dates or itinerary are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requested changes.

If EcoTour is required to cancel a tour due to force majeure, government restrictions, natural disasters, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond our control, clients may transfer their payment to a future tour or receive a full refund of all recoverable payments, excluding any non-refundable costs already paid to third-party suppliers.

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method whenever possible. Any bank charges, currency conversion fees or payment processing costs charged by financial institutions are the responsibility of the client.

Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they possess valid passports, visas, permits, insurance, and any other documents required for their journey.

Participants are also responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and suitability for the activities included in their chosen tour.

Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements should be communicated before travel.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before their trip. Insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, and personal belongings.

For tours involving trekking, mountaineering, horse riding, or other outdoor activities, travelers must ensure their policy specifically covers adventure or active travel, including high-altitude activities where applicable.

Travelers may purchase insurance through an international provider or through a licensed insurer in their home country.

We can assist with arranging insurance through a local partner; however, the traveler is solely responsible for selecting and ensuring adequate coverage.

EcoTour is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages that could have been covered by travel insurance.

Photography and Media

During tours, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on our website and social media channels.

If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform us before or during the tour.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide safe and enjoyable travel experiences, EcoTour cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, injuries, or damages resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, government actions, or the actions of third-party service providers.

Participation in tours and outdoor activities is undertaken at the traveler's own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page and will become effective upon publication.
